It's been raining all day and I have three classes, so no grand excursions planned. But I think today might hands-down be the best day in Paris so far.
Today in literature class, I was talking about an idea that I had when we were discussing the medieval text Lancelot, written by French monks, when all of a sudden our professor Monsieur Boyer, a super French old man with a cane, exclaimed, "Mais tu parles bien le français!" Which means, "Well, don't you speak French well!"
Initially my face turned bright red in embarassment but that was like the most rewarding experience EVER. *sigh of happiness*
P.S. The title of this post is from the movie Sabrina. Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn) tells David (Humphrey Bogart) that in Paris you should never carry an umbrella in Paris.
